Market City is proud to be home to the only BrainBuilder Learning Center in Western Australia.
BrainBuilder is a holistic maths education program (kindergarten to year 12) based on a world-renowned Singapore Maths model by Dr Fong. Business owner, Steven Cheng, bought Brain Builder to Market City more than five years ago and chose the location due to the excellent foot traffic and advertising opportunities on Site.
BrainBuilder™ Learning Centres, maths programs are developed to suit the needs of each child. From foundation and extension programs to test and competition preparation, Brain Builder partners with each child to help them gain the skills needed to master maths.
Steve says his greatest enjoyment comes from seeing students improve and succeed.
“Our programs are unique as they are completely tailored to the needs of the student,” Steven said.
“Class sizes are small, with around four in a session, and each child has their own work activities. This means each child can progress at their own speed, which improves results for everyone.”
Classes can be undertaken as frequently as needed by the child, and holiday programs continue the learning. During each school holidays, the BrainBuilder team offers activities that focus on the gifted and talented (GATE) program; enabling students to apply for GATE schools. Classes also focus on NAPLAN preparation, the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) and the International Competition and Assessment for Schools (ICAS), run by Uni of New South Wales.
