Samy Medical Practice will be hosting their first senior’s morning tea at Market City, Canning Vale on Wednesday 26 May, offering visitors access to bulk-billed osteoporosis scans and other specialist services.

During the event, which runs between 10am and 12 noon, visitors will have free access to specialists from Osteoporosis Solutions, Baptistcare, Dial-a-Doctor and Star Hearing. Baptistcare will be offering guidance on available Commonwealth Home Support Programs and Star Hearing consultants will be taking bookings for free consults and hearing tests. Osteoporosis Solutions will be on site with their mobile bus offering free osteoporosis scans.

Samy Medical Practice is well known for their passion to offer free access to holistic health care. All their services, and specialist services are bulk-billed.

“At Samy Medical Practice, we do things differently. We feel it is our duty as medical practitioners to support people with preventative healthcare and are passionate about patient education. We therefore offer free events such as this morning tea where we offer free services that would be otherwise inaccessible,” said Prof. Samy.

“Our location at Market City is perfect for this as we can hold public seminars in the foyer and also bring specialist services to other buildings around me. I would like to make this location a wellness hub for people to access specialist services, while also enjoying the other shopping and eating options at Market City.”

Perth Markets Chief Executive Officer, Rebecca Moore, said Samy Medical Practice had recently opened in Market City, becoming the first and only bulk-billing doctor surgery in the shopping centre.

“We are really behind the Samy family’s vision to build a medical hub at Market City and happy to see the community benefiting from such good quality, accessible health care. The morning tea will be a very informative and practical session for seniors and so we really hope to see many people join us,” said Rebecca.
