Perth shoppers, food lovers and bargain hunters are set to enjoy an even bigger and better market experience when Perth Markets launches the all-new Saturday Wholesale Market this weekend, on Saturday, November 7.
Formerly the iconic Saturday Clearance Market, the refreshed market will deliver extended trading hours, an expanded range of vendors and an exciting new focus on freshness, variety and value.
Opening every Saturday from 6.00am to 11.00am, the Saturday Wholesale Market will continue to offer direct access to some of Western Australia’s fresh food wholesalers, including Kailis Bros, while also introducing additional stallholders offering fresh produce, specialty foods, unique products and convenient breakfast options.
The revitalised market has been designed to create a more diverse shopping experience, giving customers greater choice and more reasons to make Perth Markets part of their weekend routine.
Weekend Markets and Events Manager, Dembo Konteh, said the relaunch reflects the market’s evolution and the unique shopping experiences on offer.
“The Saturday Wholesale Market is about bringing together quality, freshness and value in one place,” Mr Konteh said.
“Whether you’re stocking up on your weekly groceries, searching for the freshest seasonal produce, or simply looking for a great morning out, there’s something for everyone.

Perth Markets will be trialling the extended trading hours for an initial four-week period, giving shoppers an extra hour to browse, buy and explore everything the market has to offer.
The success of the trial will depend on community support, and Perth Markets is encouraging visitors to take advantage of the new 11:00am finish time and experience the expanded market offering.
