The site has programmed major road works scheduled to take place in mid-June 2022. These capital works are targeted at areas where the existing bitumen is close to end of life. It is envisaged that the main road network within the market site will be upgraded over the coming 12 months. It is a significant undertaking due to the reliance on the road network for all business activities on the site be it in a forklift, car, or truck. PMGL is currently working with traffic management consultants and the road contractors to minimize the impacts from the resurfacing on your movements. The Eastern Distributor is phase 1 with the works currently being scheduled for completion over a June weekend. Phase 2 will have implications for the entire site as it will impact the main entrance and roundabouts. PMGL will provide more communication on this project once finalised.
