Become a stall holder
The Sunday Community Market is home to the flavours of the world with Perth’s best street food, a huge range of homewares, crafts, bric-a-brac, plants, baked goods, kids activities, live music, and so much more.
We welcome stallholders of all sorts, who would like to become a part of this exciting and vibrant community, open to thousands of eager shoppers each weekend.
If you’d like to join us as a stallholder, (for non food and food vendors) please complete our online application form below.
New Stall Holder
- Stall holder bays are approximately 3.5m x 6.5m.
- Bay pricing:
- $27 for an outdoor bay (bring your own marquee),
- $40 for an under cover bay (marquees required for food vendors only), or
- $55 for an under cover powered bay (marquee required for food vendors only) – not that powered sites are limited.
- You must have public liability insurance to the minimum value of $10 million, or you are welcome to “buy” into ours for $5 per market.
- Once your application has been submitted, we will complete the appropriate checks, and you will receive confirmations once your request has been approved.
- Ensure you state the date you would like to commence trading, your documentation is complete and you have read and understood the Stall Holder Conditions.

Bay pricing:
- The fee to join the market as a Car Boot seller is $20. The fee includes an under cover stall space. You can use 2 car spaces – 1 to park your car and 1 for your stall or trailer. Stalls are allocated on a first come first serve basis.
- Power is NOT available for Car Boot sellers.
Important information:
- Stall holders must keep their area tidy and take rubbish with them when they leave the site.
- Stall holders are liable to pay any excess in the case of any insurance claims.
- Bring a table, tarp or rack to put your goods on.
- Gazebos and tents (if used) must be secured at all times.
- Bring smaller notes and coins ready for customers.
- To become a Car Boot seller, you must complete a registration form either online prior to the market, or upon arrival. You can complete the online form at any time, and once completed just make your way to the Ticketing Office in the centre of the market to make payment and receive your bay allocation.
- If you opt to complete the printed form on the day of the market, please make your way to our Ticketing Office in the centre of the market. Our staff will help you to complete the form and take payment.
- You must have public liability insurance. If you do not have this mandatory insurance, you will be charged $5 to be included under the Perth Market’s Insurance policy (Terms, Conditions and Restrictions apply and this does NOT include Product Liability).

The City of Canning requires all food vendors to create a My Canning account by clicking Using your My Canning account, you can then apply for an annual Food Permit to trade at our Sunday Market and renew your permit.

- Buskers are welcome to play anytime during market open hours (7am – 1pm) but must play for a minimum of 2 hours.
- Power is supplied to our designated “Market Music” space within out Activation Zone.
- Should you arrive prior to 6.45am, you are welcome to drive up and drop your gear off and then park your vehicle. Approval after this time require your equipment to be trolleyed up. You are welcome to bring your vehicle back up after 1.15pm after market closure to pack down.

The City of Canning requires all food vendors to create a My Canning account by clicking Using your My Canning account, you can then apply for an annual Food Permit to trade at our Sunday Market and renew your permit.
