Perth’s biggest fully undercover Winter Night Markets are back every Saturday night this August, with the Canning Vale Weekend Markets set to transform Saturday nights into a vibrant celebration of food, entertainment and local creativity.
Running every Saturday from 1 August to 29 August, between 5:00pm and 9:00pm, the Winter Night Markets will once again take over the iconic Perth Markets precinct at 280 Bannister Rd, Canning Vale, offering a unique, weatherproof destination for locals to enjoy.
With free entry and about 100 stalls each weekend, visitors can explore an exciting mix of gourmet street food, handmade artisan products, specialty retailers, live music and entertainment, plus a variety of family-friendly activities. The event is expected to welcome more than 5,000 visitors each Saturday night.
Community Markets and Events Manager, Dembo Konteh, said the event has become a winter favourite for Perth families.
“The Winter Night Markets have become something people genuinely look forward to each year,” he said.
“It’s a chance for people to come together, enjoy great food and support local businesses, regardless of the weather because we are fully undercover,
“Winter can mean fewer opportunities to get out and enjoy local events, so we’re proud to create a space where people can hang out with family and friends, support local businesses and enjoy a great night out, no matter what the weather is doing.”
Hosted at Perth Markets, the precinct offers ample free parking, as well as paid undercover parking.
Beyond the Winter Night Markets, the Canning Vale Weekend Markets continue to operate year-round, with the Saturday Clearance Market (6:00am – 10:00am) featuring wholesale fresh produce, meat and seafood, and the Sunday Community Market (7:00am – 1:00pm), home to a diverse range of food vendors, local businesses, entertainment and market stalls.
